Supply in the Kingdom of God
Jesus once remarked, "Behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21; The kingdom of God within us includes the consciousness of supply no less than the consciousness of bliss, joy, or other evidences of well-being. What appears as a human need for secure supply is in reality a need for the consciousness of man's unbroken relationship to God.
Christian Science teaches that God is divine Mind, infinite intelligence, and that He expresses Himself always in spiritual ideas. Because man is the image of this divine Mind, he is spiritual and includes the consciousness of the ideas imparted by Mind. Mrs. Eddy says of man in Science and Health, "He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas." Science and Health, p. 475; In the understanding of this unbroken spiritual relationship of Mind and idea we find the useful and needed ideas which provide endless and abundant supply.
Since God is Spirit and supply is a manifestation of the kingdom of God within us, supply must be spiritual, not material. Supply, coming to us from the divine Mind, or infinite intelligence, appears to our consciousness as spiritual ideas. These ideas are forever perfect, indestructible. They are forever understandable.
