The Small Word "Daily"

How important a small word can be! Sometimes the whole meaning of a phrase is lifted and given new significance by one brief word representing a mighty concept.

Christian Scientists constantly watch for significant words as they study their textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. A particular word, when properly noted and understood, often sheds added light on a familiar sentence.

Such a word is strategically included by Christ Jesus in his well-known comment, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23; The word "daily" has important bearing here.
