RADIO PROGRAM NO. 242-Where Does One Look for Gratitude?

Announcer: Most people find it easy to feel grateful when everything is going well. But if someone is having a serious problem in human relationships with another member of his family, he may question whether he has much of a basis for gratitude.

Questioner: It's my guess that a traditional Thanksgiving could really be quite painful to someone who isn't getting along with another member of his family. This would also be the case if someone felt sick or poor or grief stricken. When there's a problem in someone's life, he often doesn't feel much reason to be grateful.

Speaker: No matter how severe a problem appears to be, an individual does have cause for gratitude simply in the fact that God can bring him through it.
