Since becoming a student of Christian Science some fifteen years ago, I have had many experiences which proved to me the allness of God, Spirit, and the wonderful reality of full salvation for this present time.

I have experienced a number of physical healings, but one was particularly enlightening as to the importance of guarding and directing human thought. While a young man, I had athlete's foot. This was many years before I became a Christian Scientist, and I had forgotten all about the disease.

However, some time ago I saw a television advertisement for a certain medication for athlete's foot. My thought was simply, "Why, I forgot such a problem claimed to be," and then I thought no more about it. To my complete and utter amazement, about five days later I discovered the condition on my left foot. At this time I remembered the subtle, aggressive suggestion of the advertisement about five nights before, and I began to pray to know the nothingness of materiality and disease and the allness and perfection of God as Spirit and the perfection of man as His image and likeness. This work continued for a day or two every time I thought of or was troubled by the toes. Then about five nights later I noticed that every trace of the disease had disappeared and the foot was normal again.
