Several years ago I moved from one state to another, and in order to continue in the teaching profession I had to obtain a certificate in the state to which I had moved. I learned that I could obtain a certificate if I passed an examination on all the elementary school subjects. I decided to take this examination, although I was afraid I could not pass it the first time. I held to my understanding of God as the one Mind, the source of the intelligence expressed by man, and before leaving for the courthouse, where the examination was to take place, I called a practitioner and asked her to give me a Christian Science treatment. I was overjoyed when I learned that I had passed the examination, and I thanked God for His wonderful goodness.

Another proof of God's guidance and care was shown to me when it became necessary for me to move from an apartment in which I had been living for several years. I asked a practitioner to pray for me. I spoke of wishing to be guided to the right home, and she said, "The Christ will lead you."

I stayed in the home of a friend during the time that I was waiting and spent time studying Christian Science and praying. Several days went by, and I found nothing satisfactory; but just before school opened a friend told me that she had an apartment for me. When I saw the place and gave the matter prayerful consideration I realized that it met my needs perfectly; so I took it. I have a home which is pleasant and comfortable, convenient to the school, and satisfactory in every way.
