A greater understanding of the...
A greater understanding of the allness of God gained through the study of Christian Science has brought many healings to our family.
One day our young son ran into the house telling me a bee had stung him. Prayerfully turning to God, I thought of a passage from the Bible (Gen. 1:31), "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." This helped me overcome the suggestion of fear, and I explained that God made everything good; that people, animals, even the bees, were actually His perfect ideas. Therefore one idea of God, good, couldn't hurt another idea of God, and this truth would heal the sting.
We saw this clearly, and soon the child went out to play again. There was no further mention of the sting and no swelling.
