With a heart full of gratitude...

With a heart full of gratitude I wish to testify to the many blessings and healings which I have received through Christian Science. This Science came to my attention at a time when hopelessness and anxiety reigned in our home.

My husband had been under medical treatment for a heart condition, blood pressure, and so on, for several years, and I had been told by doctors that I would be an invalid for the rest of my life. According to them, I had an incurable disease of the spine and could live only by taking drugs. I often felt that I was losing my ability to reason and even considered suicide.

Some good friends, knowing our difficulties, introduced us to a Christian Science practitioner, who very kindly explained to us that the experience through which we seemed to be passing was an illusion and not a fact of Life. She explained further that we must be born again spiritually but that this rebirth could take place only in the consciousness of an individual and that we must replace all our fearful and erroneous thoughts with the truth. Our thinking was illumined instantaneously, and Science became a marvelous blessing in our life.
