Young People Do Respond
"Inattentive, discourteous, and completely disinterested." This was one appraisal of high school students in a Christian Science Sunday School class.
But the new teacher assigned to that class writes:
"I found that the class consisted of one senior who was a superior student, three seniors who were fair students, another who was failing in school, and a junior who used tobacco. The good student had been accepted in a fine college and had the financial means to attend. It was apparent that each of the others was comparing his own opportunities to those of this one boy and that this comparison was the basis of their wrong conduct in Sunday School.
