Words are inadequate to express...
Words are inadequate to express my heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness to God for Christian Science and the blessings it has brought into my life. Each day I am more grateful for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who brought us Christian Science, the Holy Comforter, which is the true answer to the prayer of our blessed Master, Christ Jesus (see John 14: 16).
For more than thirty years
Christian Science has been my only physician, healing me of all my physical ailments; but, most of all, I am grateful for the spiritualization of my thought and life. The last two physicians who were caring for me could not determine the exact nature of my trouble and consequently offered no help. They sent me home to stay in bed indefinitely and to follow a strict diet. One of them called to see me, but offered no medication other than some pills for pain, which I never took. It seemed this human existence was coming to an end. There was extreme mental and physical exhaustion and the loss of all energy.
