After repeated invitations from a relative to visit a Christian Science Sunday School, my two sisters and I finally complied with the wishes of this dear one. We were so impressed with the joy, order, and quiet that prevailed there that we never again attended the Sunday School in which we had previously been enrolled.

In more than thirty years the truths learned and applied through the study of the Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy have supplied my every need. The loving answers to the many questions asked of Sunday School teachers and the patience and assistance of Reading Room librarians during my high school years strengthened my knowledge and understanding that God is Love. During this time, I was healed of frequent headaches and constipation.

In "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," our beloved Leader writes (p. 238), "God is understandable, knowable, and applicable to every human need." How true this is! At the age of twenty I left the Sunday School, and I graduated from college shortly thereafter with a false sense of egotism and selfishness that presented itself in the form of extreme timidity.
