What Is Ours?
The secret of a full life includes knowing what really belongs to one, claiming it, using it, and being grateful for it. Mortals, however, often claim possession of that which has brought them nothing but suffering and frustration. What a blessing it is to know that only what God, divine Love, gives us is really ours and that it is always good!
Christian Science reveals this truth. Mrs. Eddy writes in Miscellany (p. 5), "Wholly apart from this mortal dream, this illusion and delusion of sense, Christian Science comes to reveal man as God's image, His idea, coexistent with Him—God giving all and man having all that God gives."
Mortals are led to believe that they have a sick or diseased body, a deformity, or any of the other multitudinous false beliefs that mortal mind would attempt to fasten on one. Many believe that these conditions are sent from God as punishment for past sins.
