It is with great joy that I acknowledge my deep appreciation of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and of the wonderful privilege of being a student of Christian Science. For many years I have enjoyed its blessings, and it is with much gratitude that I write of one of the many healings I have had over the years.

As far back as I can remember, I had never been able to sleep on my left side, and I could not breathe through my left nostril most of the time. Being interested in Christian Science for many years, I had help from practitioners with some fine results, enough to prove to me that Science is the only way to complete freedom.

Being accepted for class instruction gave me great happiness. Sometime after class, I asked my teacher for help with the problem of breathing and voice, since it seemed to mortal sense that my voice was impaired. My teacher told me to claim continually man's birthright as a perfect idea of God. She reminded me that all God has made is perfect and eternal, and she said I needed to realize that "immortal Mind, governing all, must be acknowledged as supreme in the physical realm, so-called, as well as in the spiritual" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy, p. 427).
