There Is No Death
Christian Science teaches us that all is Life and its expression, Mind and its unfolding ideas. The only power that exists is the creative power of divine Principle; and man is the eternal, unlimited expression of this creative force. In the Science of being there is no process of deterioration, decline, dissolution. It is important for each one to know and to declare that there is no death.
According to the Bible, creation began with the fact that "the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Gen. 1:2). And that "Spirit of God" is constantly and eternally moving "upon the face of the waters." There is no other influence, no other power.
The product, of course, is the endless expression of Life and its activity, the continual unfolding of right ideas. Life is self-sustained, self-perpetuated, the seed within itself. This positive creative function is all that is going on. Mrs. Eddy has given us this truth in "the scientific statement of being" in Science and Health. She says (p. 468), "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all."
