From an early age my thought...
From an early age my thought had been greatly disturbed by discordant human relationships; and because of my ignorance of God and man, my difficulties increased through my harboring deep resentment and returning evil for evil.
After many years of soul-searching and seeking through various religions, I did not gain the necessary enlightenment; eventually my erroneous state of thought, combined with other distressing events, culminated in a nervous breakdown which seemed to necessitate three years of psychiatric treatment.
While in this hopelessly distressed and emotionally disturbed state of mind, I sought release from earthly woes by a self-administered overdose of drugs. I was in a coma, dangerously ill, for forty-eight hours and not expected to live.
