WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on October 4, 1964.]
Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! (Ezek. 13:3)
Moffatt suggests the translation, "Woe to the fools of prophets who only prophesy what they feel, without a real vision!" The Septuagint Version has, "Woe to them that prophesy out of their own heart, and who see nothing at all."
Ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations (Ezek. 13:23)
