The Claims of Truth

"The only real claims on man, God's idea,
are the claims of Truth"

Truth's claims on man are infinite, and Mind, God, gives him the ability to meet them. Christian Scientists often speak of the claims that error makes upon them with its insistence that man is material, subject to material law, to sin, sickness, and death. The alert Christian Scientist is quick to refute these claims, for he knows they are unlawful, untrue, and unreal. Since they are not legitimate, he sets to work to prove that the only real claims are those which God makes upon man, the demand for perfection, for example.
