Early in 1916 Christian Science was brought to my attention when I was suffering from a tumor. I began to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Before I had finished the book, the tumor had dissolved and passed away. At the same time I was healed of a stomach condition and nervousness.

An internal condition was healed in 1931 through the treatment of a practitioner. By the systematic study of the Lesson-Sermons, set out in the Christian Science Quarterly, I was healed of arthritis, having at times the help of a practitioner. As my understanding increased, I experienced many years of protection from disease and accident. At a time when my supply seemed insufficient, I realized that I could not afford to be without our periodicals. I took money that I thought should be used in another direction and subscribed for them on a quarterly basis. I have subscribed continuously since, and supply for all my needs has been abundant.

In December, 1962, my right arm was injured. I did not submit to a diagnosis, but the condition was obviously serious. A practitioner began to give me treatment at once, and a few days later I felt the bones in the upper arm move. Then I began to move the fingers and hand and to lift the arm a little. During the fourth week a bone in the shoulder appeared to move into place. Shortly after this I was able to raise the arm all the way and gradually to use it in every way that was necessary. I am especially grateful for the practitioner who stood by me.
