True Greatness Through Reflection
"The desire of every sincere Christian Scientist is to reflect the greatness of God through better healing work"
If all mankind accepted the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement in Miscellany (p. 272), "Goodness is greatness, and the logic of events pushes onward the centuries; hence the Scripture, 'The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me [man] free from the law of sin and death,'" the world would be a much more harmonious place in which to live. Misapprehending the nature of true greatness, men have, since time began, struggled and fought to attain greatness through the power of materiality. But only insofar as we express spiritual good shall we begin to understand the meaning of true greatness and demonstrate it.
