"My Father's house"
The time is here for a victory over the errors which would limit the growth and effectiveness of a Church of Christ, Scientist, in its community. To win this victory each church member must examine himself, must become acquainted with himself and his thinking on the subject of Church, and must set to work to purge his own thought of all that does not embody the spirit of the Christ. On page 571 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "Know thyself, and God will supply the wisdom and the occasion for a victory over evil."
Christ, Truth, alone can set the standard for the worship of God. And according to this standard any heart that is touched by the Christ-spirit has a right to a seat in the Father's house. Such a heart may belong to one who is considered among the best people in the community, or it may belong to one who is generally looked down upon.
