I attended a Christian Science Sunday School...
I attended a Christian Science Sunday School, but unfortunately only for two years, for it was during the time of the Second World War and due to prevailing circumstances the churches of Paris were closed. I left for Normandy, where my parents had a country home.
Even at that time my parents and I received numerous blessings as a result of the understanding of God and man we had gained through Science and always found the right spot to escape the bombings. I remember the day when it seemed that a supernatural force was pushing me to pedal my bicycle at top speed across a bridge which was destroyed a few minutes later.
Another time, when we were coming back from shopping, my mother and I were divinely guided to go toward the high part of the village rather than to return directly home. Because of this we are still alive, for bombs fell on the road which we would usually have taken for returning home.
