Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, for Mrs. Eddy, and for Christian Science.

I had suffered for many years with a varicose vein ulcer. Changing our residence from California to Oregon, my husband and I lived with a brother until we could find a residence of our own.

One day when I was in severe pain, my brother recommended Christian Science. A practitioner was called, and a friend loaned me the textbook by Mrs. Eddy and gave me a copy of the Christian Science' Quarterly, in which are outlined the weekly Lesson-Sermons. I studied one of these faithfully every day.
