Let's Destroy Domination
When a human being dominates another, he is to a degree destroying human individuality. But every individual is free to reject domination and to demonstrate his indestructible individuality as it is in Mind.
Christian Science teaches us to acknowledge Mind's government of man. This enables us to realize our capacity for self-government, and it helps others to do the same. Exposing and rejecting in our own thought any desire to dominate or to be dominated enables us also to rule disease out of the body.
On page 177 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes: "Matter, or body, is but a false concept of mortal mind. This so-called mind builds its own superstructure of which the material body is the grosser portion; but from first to last, the body is a sensuous, human concept." Believing that we dwell in a material body and calling the body "I," we find it natural to say, "I can be sick." But understanding that through the law of Mind we can find our true spiritual selfhood, we can declare with confidence, "I cannot be sick."
