Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Bedford, Bedfordshire, England (First Church).

Dedication services will be held on Sunday at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Bedford, which stands off Kimbolton Road. Work was started on the church in May, 1961, and the building was completed at the beginning of last year.

The new church, which is modern in design, is equipped with under-floor heating. The auditorium...has a pipe organ and two carved Readers' desks. Behind are two Readers' rooms. The building includes a Sunday School room, a sales room for Christian Science literature, and a Reading Room which is open three afternoons a week.
