"Bless the Lord, O my soul:...
"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who health all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:1-3). These words express my joy and my gratitude to God for Mrs. Eddy and the blessed revelation of Christian Science.
It would be impossible to tell here of all my healings, but an outstanding one to me was the healing of what had been diagnosed as an inward goiter. After becoming a student of Christian Science, I had treatment from a practitioner at different times, and the condition seemed to be met for a while; but the symptoms returned again in times of great stress.
The healing did not come about until much self-will and self-justification and a violent temper had been overcome. That was over twenty-five years ago, and the healing has been permanent.
