When I was only a young lad...
When I was only a young lad, my mother was healed of neuralgia through prayer by a Christian Science neighbor after doctors had said that nothing more could be done for her. This healing occurred over forty-seven years ago, and today my mother is living a very active life. How well I remember the joy and gratitude she-expressed during the three weeks it took to complete the healing!
Soon after this wonderful experience I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, and the clear explanations of truth I received each Sunday gradually opened up a new world for me. Many had thoughts and worldly traits of character soon faded away as does the morning dew in the sunshine. Colds and a bronchial disorder that had plagued me for several years disappeared.
When I was of high school age. I attended a school for the sons and daughters of Christian Scientists. While attending this school I experienced my first instantaneous healing. I sustained a severe muscle injure which made it extremely difficult for me to walk.
