It is with a heart filled with gratitude for Christian Science and the good it is doing for suffering humanity that I write this testimony.

It has been over forty years since I found this blessed truth. A neighbor next door saw my great need for healing and said that if I would read a little book she had, which she would be glad to lend me, I would, find relief from the many troubles I was experiencing. I accepted her offer.

It was about midafternoon when I started reading the book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I continued reading until dark. I just could not let go of this blessed book. I had worn eyeglasses for several years and still suffered a great deal from an eye condition. That day I forgot to put on my glasses. As I read, my eyes were healed, and I was able to dispense with the glasses. This was my first healing and was the turning point in my life.
