I am very grateful for the demonstrations of the truths of Christian Science which I have had since the day I began to study it, that is, about twenty years ago.

Whenever this Science has been properly applied, it has brought me complete healing. It helped me tremendously during the difficult period when I was deported to Germany. My most notable physical healing was that of an ulcer on my leg. Through the work of a practitioner, this disappeared completely more than ten years ago.

Another healing was that of my mother. Nine years ago she suffered a paralytic stroke and could no longer speak or move. Through the constant work of the practitioner, my mother began to speak at the end of a week, and a month later she was able to come downstairs. She is now over eighty-five years of age and is always in good health, helping me a great deal with the housework.

In January, 1955, the locality in which we live was overrun by a flood. We worked steadfastly in Science, aided by the practitioner; and although our cellar was flooded, the water stopped rising two steps before the ground floor level, with the result that we suffered no material damage.
