"IN QUIETNESS AND IN CONFIDENCE"
Faith
grows in stillness, silencing all doubt.
Fear does not touch where deepening trust abides.
Trust becomes stronger with each testing time;
Returning wanderer learns that Love still guides.
Who finds not God when, with a childlike heart,
Sincere in motive pure he humbly seeks?
To him, like certain dawn, God's glory glows,
Out of infinity His promise speaks.
Be still and know that with each quiet time
Our rock of strength, unmoved, will reappear;
Listen and wait. Each guided step reveals
Love does not fail its own; our Christ is near.
