Anne Listens for God's Angels

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Anne was having a wonderful time at summer camp. Everything was just perfect: meeting new friends, learning new games, enjoying the beauty of the tall pine trees and the cool water of the lovely blue lake.

All the children at camp were learning how to swim. Every day some of them went to a special place where the water was not deep. The swimming teacher showed them how to kick their legs very hard and make the water splash very high.

After they had learned how to use their arms and legs together, they had to pass a swimming test in the deep water of the lake. Anne was not very happy about the swimming test, because when she was very young she had been frightened while she was in deep water.
