When one has received the healing benefits of Christian Science for a number of years, he values the privilege to testify to its salutary effects.

In several instances in the middle 1930s I was divinely guided through my application of Science into channels of employment. On one occasion I was engaged by a public accounting firm after they had entertained numerous applications. At the time the supply of labor far exceeded the demand, and I was a stranger to the management. Although I was informed that the work was temporary, the firm retained me for some fifteen months, and at a later date offered reemployment.

On another occasion, with the aid of prayerful mental work by a Christian Science practitioner, I was led to employment in a manufacturing business. When I inquired at an information desk, asking whom I should interview with regard to employment, I was informed that the company was not taking applications.
