Today , more than ever before, we can be grateful to God for the consecrated work of Mrs. Eddy and her divine revelation of Christian Science. It has been my privilege to have been brought up in this Science—the way of Life—because my mother accepted this religion before I was born. She had always been looking for a religion that healed as Jesus healed. When Science was presented to her, she accepted it right away, for she recognized it as the Christ, Truth, promised in the Bible.

Through childhood my brother and I had the benefit of the truths of Science. My brother's back was at one time badly infected with ringworm. When the correct stand for Truth was taken, the condition was healed over-night although although it had been in evidence for over three weeks. We were protected from serious attacks of so-called childhood diseases. Any we experienced were of short duration. Three different times I had serious burns; but in all cases the healing was rapid, leaving no scars or blemishes.

While he was working to free some boats during a flood, my husband cut his thumb deeply with a badly rusted butcher knife. He wrapped his handkerchief round his thumb and calmly went on freeing the boats. A verse in the Bible that helped him was (Phil. 4:13), "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
