Some twenty years ago an illness necessitated my leaving my husband and young daughter in order that I might stay with a sister in another state for rest and healing. In her home was a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. In my search for healing I reached out to God and was led to find this book. Although I was unaware of the change taking place in my thinking through the study of it, the healing was made evident.

However, upon my return to the family, we attended an orthodox church and Sunday School with renewed dedication, and I did continue to study Christian Science. Then some years later another sister, a new student of Christian Science, visited us. She expressed so much faith in the Bible statement that "with God all things are possible"(Matt. 19:26) that my interest was aroused.

Several weeks later my husband obtained some copies of the Sentinel. The truth stated therein recalled my having read Science and Health some years before.
