"Remember who you are!"

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Each Sunday David's teacher in the Christian Science Sunday School gave the children in the class a passage from the Bible or from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The children would learn the passage during the week, and then on the following Sunday they would talk about what the words meant.

On Sunday David brought home a note saying that he was to learn this sentence (I John 3:2): "Beloved, now are we the sons of God." David's mother and father were very happy that his teacher had asked him to learn those words from the Bible because they loved them, and they knew that David would love them too when he learned what they meant.

Each morning during that week they said the sentence together. They talked of God's nearness to His children and of His love for them all, just as Jesus taught. They remembered that they were God's children and that God protected and guided each one of them.
