Are we as thankful on this day of thanksgiving ... as the Pilgrims were when they observed the first thanksgiving day in 1621?

Those who celebrated the first thanksgiving here in America had so little that they were almost destitute in terms of material goods. Yet they poured out their thanks to God from the sincerity of their hearts—their thanks for survival and opportunities offered in the new world.
