Riding
on a crowded intercity bus, I could not avoid hearing the account of family misfortunes a man behind me was giving to the passenger in the seat next to him.
The
first tenet of The Mother Church reads, "As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life.
Most
of us want to learn about eternal life, what it is, and how to attain it.
Peter
had been attending a Christian Science Sunday School for several years.
The
fifth commandment, "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee".
A branch church in California reports that it held five workshops.
It
is with a grateful heart that I write this testimony telling of what Christian Science has done for me.
In
gratitude for all the blessings I have had since I began to study Christian Science, I submit this testimony.
Because
of a constantly growing appreciation of Christian Science, I can no longer put off this expression of gratitude.
I am
grateful to be able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
It
has been my privilege to learn the truths of Christian Science from babyhood.
I am
very grateful to have experienced a wonderful healing.
