I am very grateful to have experienced...
I am very grateful to have experienced a wonderful healing. At the time I was led to Christian Science, I had been mentally depressed over a period of about five years, during which I had been under a physician's care and had had psychiatric help. I was fortunate to come during this time upon a gracious woman, a Christian Science practitioner. As a result of her encouragement I gave up medical help and asked her to give me treatment.
I had been searching for a solution for several years to a number of problems, including that of employment. The practitioner and I worked together to knew the truths of God and man. I began studying the Lesson-Sermon from the Quarterly, and I noticed a complete change in my outlook on life.
My daily study lessened my fear of the future and of meeting people. The thought that man is always employed in expressing the qualities of God put a different light on things. My thoughts was becoming more spiritual and less material.
