RADIO PROGRAM No. 137 - Does God Send Trouble?

HOST: Do you believe that God sends trouble? That He sends evil and suffering?

INTERVIEWER: It is interesting to note that the Reverend William B. Mathews devotes a chapter in his book, "The Quest for Life," to the questions our host has raised. He asks: "Does God send trouble? If so why? If not, then what shall we think of all the trouble, evil and suffering in the world?" (© 1962, by the Christopher Publishing House, Boston, Massachusetts.) He goes on to say that "this is one of life's most baffling and perplexing problems."
