I am grateful to be able to testify...
I am grateful to be able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. About ten years ago I knew nothing of this religion, and my life seemed at a low point indeed. I read the Bible daily, seeking to find and to understand God.
During that time I met a Christian Scientist, who later became my husband, and began to learn what Science teaches of God and man. As the truth of what I heard dawned on my thought, much of my thinking and experience began to change.
One morning I awoke with a gumboil. Later the same morning I mentioned this condition over the telephone to my Christian Science friend, with whom I had a full day of activities planned, and I expressed the hope to him that it would not spoil the whole day. In about an hour I realized that the boil was entirely gone. I was not only grateful but also mystified as to how this had happened.
