Our beloved Leader tells us in...
Our beloved Leader tells us in Science and Health (Pref., p vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." This has been proved many times in my experience.
I should like to express gratitude for many healings in my family by the power of God as understood through Science.
As I was cooking dinner one day, hot fat splashed on my hand. The pain was quite severe. One member of my family said, "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter." This is the first sentence of "the scientific statement of being" on page 468 of Science and Health. Immediately the pain left. The hand did blister; but I suffered no more pain from it, and it healed, leaving no scar.
