I should like to express my...
I should like to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. Shortly before becoming acquainted with this Science, I was away from home in another state. While I was there an irritating rash appeared on my arms, so I sought medical advice. Having this diagnosis had the effect of putting much fear into my thought.
This was in December, and on Christmas Eve I was listening to carols. When I heard the words, "Peace on earth, good will to men," I thought, "How can there be peace on earth with sickness and disease about?"
Shortly after I returned to my home state, and about a month later I was introduced to a Christian Scientist who lovingly took me to her home and explained her religion to me. All the symptoms of the rash cleared up through the prayerful help she gave me; and although some fear still lingered, it too was soon dispelled.
