It is very difficult to describe in...
It is very difficult to describe in words my gratitude for Christian Science. However, I know how much in the past I have been helped through reading testimonies in the periodicals, and in this light I am happy to testify to the healing efficacy of this Science.
In the first football game of my senior year in high school I received a back injury which, according to the team physician, would prevent me from playing during the rest of the year. Suffering extreme pain, I was ordered to bed.
My eldest sister, who at that time was the only one in our family interested in Christian Science, came to my room the next evening after the game and asked me if I would like her to read to me. I can remember saying something to the effect that I would listen to anything that would help to relieve the pain.
