Since both my parents were Christian Scientists, I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School from a very early age until I was twenty, and then I became a church member. Through the years I have experienced and witnessed many healings which have caused me to be very grateful for Christian Science.

One of the very earliest healings I recall was that of a sprained arm. I was at school when I injured the arm, which became swollen and quite painful, and I was unable to use it. The school nurse took me to a local doctor, who put it in a splint and then sent me home, saying that I would probably have to be out of school for two weeks.

My mother immediately called a Christian Science practitioner, and prayerful work was done to know that man, God's perfect idea, expresses harmony and is untouched by any illusion of that which is ungodlike. Heaven is harmony, and it is impossible for man to fall out of the kingdom of heaven.
