Church Dedications

Idyllwild, California (First Church).

Dedication services for Idyllwild's First Church of Christ, Scientist, will be held Sunday, September 23, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

It was 37 years ago that meetings by lamp and candlelight were begun in private homes. In June, 1947, it was decided to form an organization to conduct regular services. They were held in the old Rustic Theatre (now Hillbilly Lodge), and later in Town Hall.
