Those
who have wrestled with an obstinate sense of fear over a period of years, trying to find a release or an explanation by searching the dark places of belief in heredity, evil influence during childhood, or other factors popularly accepted as causes must eventually realize that they can conquer fear only by gaining an awareness of the truth of being.

church stands as a light in its community, proclaiming that the Science of Christianity, as set forth and practised by Christ Jesus, is being taught and demonstrated by his present-day followers.
Today,
when the echoes of material consciousness would whisper that mankind is so immersed in evil that there can be no escape from its power—today, indeed, more than ever before—we need to hold fast to the teachings of the Bible and recapture its healing faith if we would find comfort and peace.
