In 1929 my eyesight was so poor...
In 1929 my eyesight was so poor that I had to give up my office position. I was treated by several eye specialists but received no relief. Eyeglasses did not help. The last doctor I went to said, "The only thing I can tell you to do is to get a new pair of eyes."
Then I turned to Christian Science. I was led to a practitioner who talked with me for some time and then gave me a treatment. I gained confidence to take a position that had been offered me, and I had treatment from the practitioner every day.
About two weeks later, while I was reading from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I stopped and pondered what I had read. Suddenly I exclaimed, "Why, this is the truth!" With this realization and acknowledgment, I was instantaneously healed.
