"Buoyant with hope"
"Faith guards one side of the gate of understanding, while hope guards the other"
As one stands in the bow of a steamer winding its way along a devious course, what a welcome sight are the buoys that mark the safe channel. They are made fast to their mooring anchors, so that they cannot float away, and they are so constructed that they cannot sink. They are ever riding the waves, never submerged beneath them.
