I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come into my experience through the study of Christian Science. Not only have I been restored to health, but my life has been bettered in many ways, especially that of improved morals.

At a time of great need of healing a kind woman introduced me to Christian Science and put me in touch with a practitioner. I was at that time suffering from duodenal ulcers. Within a day, or perhaps two days, of the visit to the practitioner I was able to eat normally. Then gradually all fear of eating certain foods disappeared, and I was completely healed. My work on the farm had seemed to be too heavy for me, and at times I had needed to stop and rest. With my healing, the sense of fatigue disappeared altogether.

A short time afterwards I was healed of the need to wear spectacles. I had been wearing slightly darkened glasses. The practitioner asked me to read the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. After a short while I found it easier to read without the glasses than with them, and I have not used them since. This was seven years ago.
