The accounts of healing in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel have blessed me for so long that I am impelled to share an experience that taught me a valuable lesson. These testimonies in the periodicals indicate the signs following that Jesus implied when he said (John 14:12), "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

During the Second World War, I was stationed in India and China as a bombardier and navigator on a bomber. During a year of this activity several students of Christian Science frequently met informally to hold church services on the base. The protection experienced by my crew was outstanding although, to human sense, we were in perilous circumstances many times.
