I began to study Christian Science...
I began to study Christian Science over forty-seven years ago, and I am very grateful for all the healings I have had since then. My husband and three sons have benefited from this wonderful religion too.
My husband and I felt God's power and presence with us when we were on a trip around the world. We flew forty-two thousand miles, drove six thousand miles in automobiles, and experienced nothing but harmony. Christian Science has also helped my husband in business, and we were guided by its teaching at a time when we were purchasing property.
Our sons were protected while serving their country during the Second World War. I held in my consciousness the words of verse 165 from Psalm 119, "Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them." And I often prayed, in the words of Mrs. Eddy (The Mother's Evening Prayer, Poems, p. 4):
