Sedona, Arizona (Society).

Sedona's Christian Science church will be dedicated Sunday at ceremonies beginning at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

In April, 1954, a group of Christian Science students and their friends met in Sedona and agreed to hold services in private homes. In October, they rented an old school building and held services there until December when they moved to the ... Clark Memorial Clubhouse.

In March, 1956, they returned to Sedona and began holding services and Sunday School in the school auditorium. On February 27, 1958, they became a recognized branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass., and became Christian Science Society, Sedona.

On October 19, 1959, ground was broken for the erection of a suitable building for church services and Sunday School.

On Sunday, June 5, 1960, doors of the new church were opened to the public. There has been marked progress in the spiritual growth of the Sedona church.

The public is welcome to attend the ceremonies.

Pupils to the age of 20 are invited to visit and enroll in the Sunday School.—The Verde Independent (October 4, 1962).
